High Dimension Festivals 2006

Alone Records hit right in the spot as usual with this new assault.

.

They advance the content of the HIGH DIMENSION Festivals of this year 2006. And I can tell you all that it's simply awesome. Why? Check bands below:

.

ORTHODOX (MySpace)

Drone? Maybe you're right but anyone will be dissapointed if you pronounce experimental. Because that's what is into ORTHODOX mind. You gotta check them live to

realise what I'm writing. And if you see the score of the game with only one silver ball, their debut album, you'll be shocked until your beard reaches your feet. Prepare for your doom!!!!!!!

.

GLOW (MySpace)

This band from Madrid caught the attention of so many to the point to be one of the bands invited to play at the DOOM SHALL RISE festival in Germany. Will you miss'em?

.

VIAJE A 800

What can I say about my beloved Viaje a 800? Their record "Diablo Roto De..." is a must on every shelf and now you're all lucky enough because ALONE RECORDS will re-release this album by popular demand. Their sound is huge, dark, doomy and stoned as much as their musicians!!!! They can blow your head off only with the beginning of the first tune of the gig... CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

.

MOHO

Members of MOHO are experienced enough to be compared with acts like BONGZILLA, UNSANE or HIGH ON FIRE. MUST I SAY MORE!?!?!?

.

*

ALL THE RECORDS OF THESE BANDS CAN BE BOUGHT AT ALONE RECORDS. Don't be a dumbhole and run to the start of the queue...

*

.

Following you can read, to be warned, dates to check these bands and places where you will be able to taste the pleasant flavour of the awesome underground:

Stuck Mojo - Not Promised Tomorrow

Enjoy this one.
Headbang or at least, stomp your feet listening this multiracial band.
And remember... because you're not promised tomorrow!!!

RHINO - Follow The Goat

Hi there, you NoizeLand freaks.

This time I'm gonna talk about a great self-released material that came onto my hands these last few days. RHINO "Name The Horn Bearer" MCD.

This CD is heavy and crushing . Stoner Metal? Maybe... Heavy doom? Hell yeah... Believe me. Imagine some Electric Wizard in a faster way. Solid riffs after solid riffs riddle everything that rest on its way with a great throat (Javier Galvez) that reminds me those old cool southern rock vocals like Leslie West: he moves between hard rock and powerful metal so easy...

To give you an idea of the sound, it comes to my mind those riffs of Corrosion Of Conformity's BLIND album. Yeah: guitars sound like that.

This MCD (yeah!!! A real bummer... only five tracks that make you yearn more) starts with the best (IMO) track TEMPLE and could be a good example of what you can expect of this band on stage. After this first track, you'll feel like if a big truck passed over your weak body, baby. Damm that I hadn't seen them live but I'll try not to be so far the chance to check'em out...

This three piece band consists on Javier Galvez (guitar, vocals), Julen Gil (Drums) and Miguel Moral (Bass) coming from bands like From The Cross, Subliminal or Shisha Pangma. Sorry dudes, cannot say anything of these bands...

I've heard they're preparing new stuff. Hope it is as good as expected after checking this Name The Horn Bearer MCD.

Listen these two mp3 files HERE and HERE. Both can be found at their Official Website among other details of the band.

Aw!!! Don't forget to BUY THEIR STUFF... or The Goat will be always on your nightmares...

Beerz...

Brant Bjork - My getthoblaster

Here there is another video posting. Video is not much cool by itself... but it is by the band.
For those you don't know Brant Bjork, YOU SHOULD!!!! He was drummer of bands like KYUSS or FU MANCHU. And though they use to play "quiet songs", this song is very cool!!! Enjoy.

Job For A Cowboy - Entombment of a Machine

Yeah... long time again...
Anyway: lately, I'm retaking old albums but also checking some new brutal stuff that is getting out with enough quality to be heard and seen... just check this jewel!!
