We are condemned...

Yeah... watching THIS, I dunno really if we are all condemned or not, hehehehe...
Maybe musical scene is becoming so ridiculous or barely original, but sometimes some freaks land to wake people's mind up just to say "Hey!! There is a world outside". The problem is that maybe that world won't be of your like.
Just check HURRATORPEDO band and specially their videos zone... at least you will laugh... maybe!!!

Just to finish, after the Hard Ons gig, I can only say that it was not as good as expected. It was s'posed the coming of Keish will be an add to the gig, but the real truth is he broke completely the look of the usual Hard Ons performance. The Hard Ons DON'T have a lead singer frontman... and if it has to, cannot be an abuse of glam(?) posse. Blackie passed to a second plan and that is no good: I consider him as HALF band by itself. Pete substitutes perfectly Keish's hands and Ray is always in the same line, never less than perfect.

The thing is I can't say anything negative to one of my beloved bands but in this case, I have to say that: previous gig was awesome, better, and I prefere Blackie handling the deal.

Will post some pics... maybe. Below you can find pics from this website

The Hard Ons are back!!! They turn 21...

Hell yeah!!! The Hard Ons are back this Thursday in Madrid. They'll play at GRUTA 77, like the last time they were here.

We all will enjoy also the appearance of KEISH, the original drummer, who left the band a few ago. The reason is the 21ST BIRTHDAY TOUR: 21 years since that girl in the sweater and risky thangs like Surfing On My Face... amazing.

For those who don't know this band (really? Where have you been or what the shee@t you were listening to?), these aussie guys play what a lot of people, including them, call bubble-gum punk rock... My opinion is: you gotta listen every stuff to have an idea. Cannot stuck on a couple songs.

This is the only band can play songs like Don't Wanna See You Cry (a punkrock-powerpop masterpiece) and after that, Kill Your Mum (song drowned into heavy riffs and twisting changing tempoes, just like Chitty Chitty Bang Bang).
Because of that, noone can say they change their way of playing, like seems on the latest albums, 'coz everyone who loves the Hard Ons will love anything they do. because it will be authentic to the bone...

Friends: looking forward to see you playing again live. NOONE CAN STOP YOU!!!!!!!!!

SONY's bad deal...

Yeah... world is getting crazy up to unknown limits.
I was kinda shocked when I heard about this . For those don't wanna check, the link talks about the trojan SONY put on their CDs as an anticopy system... believe it.
SONY, guys: that's not the way. It's been talked a lot about the ideas to avoid piracy or file sharing thru the net (truly two different thangs).
The ONLY way is create the CDs more attractive than get them free on the web or P2P without moving a single finger from your sofa... and that could be solved doing different things like doing cool booklets, including material (pics, videos and songs) that deserve the pain have them on the original format, LOWER PRICES (think about the margin you have and talk later, dudes), etc...
I know that there is no lotz o'freaks like me that have the same album on vynil, CD, Digipack, etc... because it's stupid to the bone waste your bucks. Think about my face when I get an album, paying as IMPORT, and a month later, the same album goes out including three more songs with a different cover... things like that make people feel like they were ripped off and so...
And of course, the solution is not putting malware, trojan, viral deals or WTF you want to put into CDs as an anticopy. NO. Letting apart that anyone has the right to make a backup copy of its OWN CD (remember we have paid it), you're doing something unconstitutional.
You bet and you loose... because anytime that I see a SONY CD on the shelves, I'll be fearful to buy it. And I won't be the only one.

Y'know wha'? Crucify the clever guy (really a nerd) that dropped that idea...

Let there be rock!!!!

DAREDIABLO is coming...

Hell yeah!!!
Now that I'm back here in Madrid from my work-interlude in the south of Spain, I restart to taste the cool gigs that sometimes are popping here.
This time is the time of the great trio (sometimes four piece or five piece...) DAREDIABLO. This instrumental act can develope sonic walls were you can relish sweets going from 70's hammond pearls to nowadays almost-stoner riffs that will make your eyes turn white of the pleasure.
If everything goes fine, an interview will be posted here in the blog or in the AT LAST NOIZELAND website that is in construction at the moment.
That's all for today as I'm working on the things that gives me the salary at the end of the month.

BEERZ!!!

Call it emotional indie rock... acoustic... songwriter... whatever you use won't be enough to describe one of the genius in the (real) musical scene. Have just heard this first solo album as Lou Barlow in ten years a couple minutes ago and the feeling was the expected: COOL.
I know that many songs into SEBADOH albums can be nonsense or strident but if you swim thru the waters of the whole career you'll find out pearls that won't be repeated by anyone. Why if not a band like DEADSY decided to make a cover of Brand New Love?
If you're not into Lou Barlow's universe, then you have to decide if you feel shocked about this master after listen EMOH but I can assure you that it is a good time spent.

Feel relaxed with LOU...

I've been having (and still have) infinite problems with my host and I'm trying to get out of this goddamm hole by myself.
I'll try to update this at least weekly until I get the "big deal".
At this point and as a start, I must recommend these following sites that belong to great labels:
